Looking For a New Property?
Here is a neat little tool I use on the Internet to explore an
area to look for real estate using satellite photos.
1. First I go to www.maps.google.com to pull up Google
Maps web page.
2. Next I type in the street address, city, state or street
address, zip code or just the zip code (the zip code with
the plus 4 digits brings up the exact address)
3. Next I choose the Satellite or Hybrid method -- the
hybrid gives you the satellite photo with the streets
labeled.
4. Then you can zoom in or out and move around on the
map and explore the area. Works anywhere in the world.
For example:
1. Go to www.maps.google.com
2. Type in: Alameda Cir, 78212
3. Click Hybrid
4. Zoom in on map and you can explore Olmos Park
between 281, Basse Rd, Hildebrand, and N. McCullough,
a lot of which is in the AHISD.
5. After you find a property in San Antonio, try the
GIS Map - San Antonio's Aerial Map program. More
detail. Harder to use.
